We have 6 easy Tri fit hard case boxes and 1 regular hard case premium box from Bike Box Alan we charge £10 per day for the Tri easy fit bike box and £7 per day for the regular box.

Bike Box Hire FAQ

What happens if I damage the bike box?

We will need to charge you the cost of the repair. However you can purchase our accidental damage wavier in the checkout. This would cover you if anything was to happen to the box, with the exception of a full loss of the box.

Do you offer a service to pack my bike box?

Yes, we charge a flat rate of £60 to pack your bike into a box. Select this in your cart. Please note for box packing you will need to drop your bike off at the Edinburgh Bike Fitting studio on 81 Leith Walk, EH6 8LX.

When can I collect my bike box?

You can pick up your bike box between the hours of 7am - 5pm on the day your hire begins.

When can I return my bike box?

You can return your bike box between the hours of 7am - 5pm on the day your hire ends.

What if my plane gets delayed on the day my hire ends?

We are a small business that understands that things can go wrong, within reason we will avoid extra charges but if you return the box far out with the hire period and the box was rented out to another customer you may incur additional charges.

What if the bike box gets lost?

We encourage everyone to get travel insurance and make sure that it covers the hire of the bike box.

Where do I collect my bike box from?

The collection point of our bike boxes is: Unit one Peffer Business Center, North Peffer Place, EH16 4UZ.

Which bike box should I hire?

The box you hire depends on a number of factors. You can pack a road bike in a Tri box but not the other way around and it is very easy to pack a road bike into a tri bike box which is a consideration once you are on holiday with your road bike, especially if it has an integrated bar.
