Tour de Giveaway 2026 — Terms & Conditions
Promoter: Edinburgh Bike Fitting, 81 Leith Walk, Edinburgh, EH6 8LX ("the Promoter").
1. The Promotion
1.1 The Tour de Giveaway 2026 ("the Promotion") is a free prize draw. No purchase is necessary to enter.
1.2 The Promotion opens at 09:00 on 26th of July 2026 and closes at 23:59 on 16th of August. Entries received outside this period will not be counted.
2. Eligibility
2.1 The Promotion is open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
2.2 Employees of Edinburgh Bike Fitting, their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected with the Promotion may not enter.
2.3 One entry per person, per prize track. Entrants may enter both the Bike Fit track and the Frame Finder track, but may win a maximum of one prize.
3. How to Enter
3.1 Enter by completing the entry form for the relevant prize track:
- Bike Fit track — for the chance to win a Premium Bike Fit
- Frame Finder track — for the chance to win a Frame Finder service
3.2 Entries must be submitted via the official entry forms as defined by the promoter. Entries by any other method will not be accepted.
3.3 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, or not received due to technical failure or any other reason beyond its control.
4. The Prizes
4.1 There are four prizes in total:
- 2 × Premium Bike Fit at Edinburgh Bike Fitting, worth £850 each
- 2 × Frame Finder service at Edinburgh Bike Fitting, worth £350 each
4.2 Prizes must be redeemed at the Promoter's studio at 81 Leith Walk, Edinburgh, within 12 months of the winner being confirmed. Appointments are subject to availability.
4.3 Prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative, in whole or in part.
4.4 Travel to and from the studio is the winner's responsibility.
4.5 The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its control make this necessary.
5. Winner Selection and Notification
5.1 Winners will be selected at random from all valid entries in each prize track. The draw will take place within 7 days of the closing date and will be conducted under independent supervision or using a verifiably random method.
5.2 Winners will be notified by email and/or telephone within 7 days of the draw, using the contact details provided on entry.
5.3 If a winner does not respond within 14 days of first notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select a replacement winner by the same method.
5.4 The surname and county of the winners will be made available on request for a period of three months after the closing date, in line with the CAP Code. Winners may object to this by contacting the Promoter, in which case the Promoter may still be required to share this information with the Advertising Standards Authority.
6. Data Protection
6.1 Personal data provided on entry will be used to administer the Promotion, including contacting winners.
6.2 Where an entrant has given consent, the Promoter may also use their details to send marketing communications about Edinburgh Bike Fitting services. Entrants can withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting the Promoter.
6.3 Data will be processed in accordance with UK GDPR and the Promoter's privacy policy, available at https://www.edinburghbikefitting.com/pages/privacypolicy/
7. General
7.1 By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
7.2 The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into, save as required by law.
7.3 The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Promotion if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this unavoidable, and will minimise any disadvantage to entrants in doing so.
7.4 This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta, Instagram, Facebook, or Strava. Entrants release these platforms from any liability in connection with the Promotion.
7.5 These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
7.6 By entering the contest you agree to participate in any promotional media we deem fair and necessary, such as social media images and videos of you receiving your prize. This serves as part of the verification of a prize being received and also assists us with marketing.
