Enigma make titanium and steel bikes by hand, one frame at a time. We measure you first, so the Enigma you ride is drawn, chosen, and built around you, then set up here to the position we found.

Who Enigma are

Enigma Bicycle Works build titanium and steel bikes in Hailsham, East Sussex. Every tube on a Signature frame is mitred, aligned, and welded by hand, and everything from fabrication to finishing happens under one roof.

Titanium doesn't rust, doesn't need paint, and rides beautifully for years. Enigma also build in Reynolds 853 steel, with the same care.

We worked with Enigma for five years before becoming an official stockist in late 2019, so we know the frames and how their geometry works with a fit.

How your Enigma comes together

Whichever route you take, the order is the same: you first, then the frame, then the parts.

What you ride, where, how far, and what you want an Enigma to do better than your current bike.

Find your frame

A Frame Finder session measures your fit and looks at how you ride and what you're aiming for. We'll tell you which Enigma to look at, and whether stock geometry fits you or a custom drawing will fit you better. The cost comes partially off the bike price if you buy through us.

Spec it together

Geometry, finish, groupset, wheels, and contact points, chosen with your fitter. You'll know what it costs before anything is ordered.

Built in Sussex, set up here

Enigma build the frame. We build the bike in our workshop and set it to your position, so it fits from the first ride.

Every Enigma is priced to its spec

The framesets we list show their price. A complete Enigma doesn't have one price to print, because model, geometry, finish, and parts all move the number. Tell us what you ride and roughly what you'd like to spend, and we'll come back with options that fit both you and the budget.

Already riding an Enigma?

Wherever you bought it, we can fit you to it and look after it. A bike fit gets the position right on the frame you have, and our workshop can service and upgrade it.
