Why Get a Bike Fit

A couple of hours now saves you months of niggling pain, wasted power, and a bike that never quite feels right.

Most pain and lost power comes down to position, not fitness

The vast majority of discomfort and wasted effort on a bike comes from how you're set up, not how hard you're training. Fixing that is often the single biggest change you can make.

✓ Ride in comfort - no more numbness, aches or hot spots by the end of a long ride

✓ Prevent injury - correct alignment before small niggles become knee, back or neck problems

✓ Ride more efficiently - every watt you produce goes into moving the bike forward, not fighting your position

✓ Ride with confidence - know your position is right because it's measured, not guessed

A Fit That Actually Changes How You Ride

Less pain, more power, and a position that holds - backed by over 10,000 individual bike fits, 15+ years of hands-on experience, and world-class 3D motion analysis and pressure mapping.

A cyclist being assessed off the bike

Every change, explained as it happens

Most people have never had a fit and don't know what they're paying for. You'll see and feel every adjustment as we make it, and understand why it's being made.

1

Off the bike

We find out what's holding you back before we touch the bike - a proprietary off-bike assessment of your mobility, strength and movement patterns.

2

On the bike, measured

3D motion capture and saddle pressure mapping while you ride, so every adjustment is based on data, not feel alone.

3

Coached, not just set

Guided on-bike coaching builds the feel for your new position, so it becomes something you can find again yourself.

4

Something to take away

Any remaining limitations named, with mobility work to do at home. Cleats and shoes sorted, and a follow-up within six months included.

Sometimes a fit works better split in two

If we both think you'd get a better result by splitting your fit into two appointments - you need time to work on a physical limitation, or the bike needs work first - we'll do that at no extra cost.

Human Skill and Technology Brought Together

Every fit pairs a qualified fitter's trained eye with lab-grade motion capture and pressure mapping, so what you feel and what the data shows always agree.

STT Systems Cycling 3DMA & Gebiomized Pressure Mapping

So your position is backed by data, not just feel: 3D motion capture for joint angles, symmetry and stability, and saddle pressure mapping for where the load actually sits. Premium guarantees both at every session; on Standard, your fitter uses them as appropriate.

What It Costs

Two tiers, the difference is how much of that technology comes guaranteed. Larger mechanical work is quoted and agreed before anything is touched.

Standard Bike Fit

From £260
per fit
  • One session - approx. 2 hours

Not sure which tier? Premium suits riders who want the position guaranteed to the millimetre - most people start with Standard. Call and ask - we'll tell you honestly.

Fitting before you buy a new bike?

The wrong frame size or set-up can turn a dream bike into an expensive mistake. Our Frame Finder service puts you on our Purely Custom fit bike, dials in your ideal position, then matches it against the actual bikes you're considering.
